The health and well-being of our guest is, as always, our primary concern. Due to growing public health concerns and by the order of Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, we have made the decision to temporarily close our indoor dine-in option at our restaurants. Our patio seating will be open starting Friday, June 12, 2020 following the recommended precautions to keep our guests safe.  Although we have a limited dine-in seating, we are dedicated to serving our community by offering our same great food and same high-quality ingredients through take-out, delivery and curbside pickup options. We will provide an update on hours of operations as new information becomes available here on our website or on our Facebook page.

An Izakaya is best described as a Japanese restaurant serving tapas-style food meant to be shared among friends.  It is a casual after-work drinking place where people relax and enjoy good food and drink.

We bring an authentic Izakaya experience to Denver’s Low Highlands area. We are home of the largest collection of Japanese Whisky and Sake.  Our bar transitions to a late night program, Bar Ginza, led by some of Colorado’s best bartenders.

To complement our drinks is an expansive kitchen menu of Japanese dishes, ramen, and sushi.  Our sushi is sourced directly from Japan’s fish market and virtually handpicked by our owner. With a unique mix of Japanese-inspired architecture and contemporary décor, we create a unique dining experience.

Choose our Omasake room to experience a unique culinary journey created by our chef. Omasake literal meaning “I’ll leave it up to you,” allows you to surrender your palette to the expertise of our chef, creating an extraordinary experience of our Japanese dishes, sushi, and sometimes spontaneous artistic meal.

“Funky Japanese scroll–inspired artwork and colorful lights set an enchanting mood at this LoHi izakaya, perfect for cozying up in a window nook along the bar or at the sushi counter: from raw oysters to fried frogs' legs to live uni, half the items on the menu are considered aphrodisiacs in one culture or another.”
